Seperti yang saya bicarakan di awal bahwa saya merasa kecil di sini. Mungkin ada yang merasa kalian sudahlah hebat di tempat-tempat masing, tetapi kalian salah. Bertemulah dengan kawan baru dan cari mereka, kalian akan merasa kalian perlu belajar banyak dari mereka. Bayangkan saja, kawan baru saya, bernama Eve dari Thailand, sudah pernah community service, hidup di Afrika Selatan selam setahun di sana. Teman saya Wahab dari Malaysia, yang juga ketua ALSA, seperti ketua himpunan mahasiswa hukum di Malaysia,  akan pergi ke Taiwan, Sri Lanka, Korea Selatan dalam setahun ini. Satria teman seprjuang saya dari Jogja akan magang di kantor dunia di Manila, Filipina selama kurang lebih 2 bulan di sana.

I AM COMING . . . .

Tibalah saya di Bandara Zhengzhou, Henan Province, Republik Rakyat China pada hari Minggu, 6 Juli 2014. Kira-kira pukul empat sore waktu setempat saya dan Satria sampai juga di tempat tujuan, yaitu tempat kami akan menimba ilmu selama kira-kira tiga minggu di China. Program yang akan saya ikuti ialah Scholarship for Leadership Mobility Program Summer Camp di Universitas Sias, salah satu institusi pendidikan yang berorientasi barat dalam pola berpikirnya mungkin namun tetap berbudaya ketimuran. Suatu kebanggan bagi saya bertemu dengan pemimpin-pemimpin mahasiswa setiap universitas di sini. Mereka adalah ketua di tiap bidang kelimuan mereka dan organisasi di universitas mereka masing-masing. Watak tegas, berani salah, mau maju, dan ramah sudah tercermin saat saya bertemu mereka pertama  kali di Bandara Zhengzhou.

HOW WONDERFUL..

Good morning in this Hongkong time now, guys.

Board written the schedule of flight from 08.05 up to 11.26 now. Where am I? Yes I am in Hongkong International Airport (HKG). I was from Jakarta on 00.10 am this midnight and I arrived here 5.54 Hongkong time, actually in Indonesia it is still 4.54. The different time between Indonesia and China is only one hour. I am in bad condition, getting cough since 5 days ago. Hopefully, I gather with my friend from Yogyakarta. I will show the picture later yeah.

The next question is why I am here. The answer is I will go to China at 12.55 pm this noon. I am as one of Indonesian delegates in Global Leadership Camp 2014 in SIAS International University, Henan, China for three weeks. This is my first experience going to abroad studying in other country. Now I only can tell little story going from Tegal to Hongkong.

Yesterday I felt that I was loved by my parents. My mother and father supported me entering this summer camp. For the first time, my mother ignored me, not ignored me, just not answering my message or phone about my planning in China this Summer. However, Alhamdulillah, my mother really encouraged me do the best there, although she ever said, “ I am a teacher, why you study so far, I will teach now.” I was laughing.  I needed my mother much. Haha.

I am very really proud become a daughter of my father and my mother. Although my mother is very strict, and is not easy make her believe to me. I am a  very naught and stubborn daughter,but my mother always smile to me.

I became a delegation from Indonesia is not easy brother and sister. I followed test or audition first. Haha. Writing motivation letter and interview. Grateful, I was selected as the representative from Yogyakarta. Actually, I cannot imagine that I can go as far as like this. China is the country that I always want to visit when I was in junior high school. At that time, it was just imagination for a little girl when my friend asking me what country you want to visit. Ever hear about “Tuntutlah ilmu sampai ke negeri China”? I prove it, friends. Although I do not go for my master or my doctor only for summer, I hope can do the best for my country.

There are some hopes that I want reach it when I am in China. First, I will bring name of Indonesia proudly. Prove that Indonesia is kind of people who always improve the knowledge, skill, capability where ever they are. Be patient, always smile, saying thank you, read more books, speak politelyhat Indonesia is kind of people who always improve the knowledge, skill, capability where ever they are. Getting new friends, new lecturers, knowledge is the most precious one for me. Please pray for me in order I can fulfill this hope, this dream, this desire.

Ok, so wonderful airport in Hongkong, in my opinion, this is still small building of airport but full of facilties, like duty free, such as food court, bookstore, electrical shop, room for smoking , room for disable, nursing room, etc. I could mention one by one of the facilities here. The design of this airport is natural view, especially cloud. You know the form of cloud when children draw on the drawing book, right. That is the main design of this Airport. I think that because the mountain in the behind or beside of this airport that inspired the designers to create this wonderful Hongkong International Airport. Kinds of tourist come here, it is busy airport although today there are part of leisure place. There are some high building between this airport and mountain, but there are not so many building I think, I can calculate, about 6 or seven building in my right side. In my left side, you can see such a beautiful sea, or we call beach, huh. With the green water. I hope you can come here. You will see Allah is wonderful, grateful.
